15TH FICCI Higher Education Summit 2019 (FHES 2019) International Conference and Exhibition
Embassy of India is pleased to inform that 15th Edition of International Summit on Higher Education will be organized by FICCI from 27th – 29th November 2019 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, INDIA.
FICCI has been organizing the FICCI Higher Education Summit (FHES) for the last 14 years and the past editions have been extremely successful, witnessing participation of more than 1000 delegates every year.
The event will be jointly organized by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) & Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The 14th Edition of FICCI Higher Education Summit 2018 (FHES 2018) was very successful and witnessed the participation from over 130 Higher Education Sector exhibitors. 251 Hosted Foreign Delegates from 52 countrieshad over 6900 structured B2B meetings with these Exhibitors during the summit. Over 1000 domestic delegates and 5000 domestic visitors attended the show.
FICCI Higher Education Summit 2019 (FHES 2019) will comprise of:
- Exhibition– 150 plus exhibitors from leading Indian Institutions will showcase the best practices to the global participants.
- Global Conference– more than 1250 Indian and foreign University Presidents, Vice Chancellors, Deans and other participants from Africa, Middle East, SAARC, CIS, Canada, USA, UK, etc. are expected to participate at the Conference.
- Regional Forumsfor Africa, CIS, Middle East, Asia including SAARC
- RBSM for B2B, B2G and G2G Meetings– over 300 international stakeholders from more than 70 countries from Africa, Middle East, CIS, developing Asia including SAARC and other potential regions are expected to visit the event.
- Campus visitson last day of the exhibition i.e. on 29th November 2019 will be organized for the foreign delegates interested to visit the participating Institutes’ campus.
The event will have participation from all major Indian Educational Institutions from all streams, Universities, NGOs & renowned Educationalists. The event will also witness the participation of International and National Conference Delegates, Business Visitors, Students from all streams, Government Officials and Diplomats from Foreign Missions. Over 8000 structured B2B and B2G meetings are expected to take place between Exhibitors and Foreign Delegates during the summit.
FICCI Higher Education Summit 2019, in addition to policy deliberations, shall focus on developing an ecosystem for strategic partnerships in the Education Sector between India and other countries. FHES 2019 will provide a forum for international educational providers interested to partner and engage with Indian higher educational institutions and will encourage them for collaborations and partnerships.
A Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) with delegations of higher education decision makers will be organized during FHES 2019 and meetings between the exhibitors and delegates will be organized with the objective of developing strategic partnerships in the higher education sector between India and focus countries and to promote quality higher education services from India. FHES 2019 will help to bring together Indian Educational Institutions from all streams and the International audience to enable interactions and discussions to enhance existing synergies in the higher education sector. We are inviting and hosting over 300 delegates from more than 70 countries of Africa, Middle East, CIS and developing Asia including SAARC and other regions during the event.
Organizers are happy to invite 05-10 representatives as Hosted Foreign Delegate for the RBSM during the event under the following categories:
- Education Consultant Facilitating Overseas Admissions Approved by Respective Government (5 to 10 recommendations)
- Chancellor / Vice Chancellor / Dean of a University or Institution (2 to 3 recommendations)
- Director/ President / Vice President of University or Institution (2 to 3 recommendations)
- Senior Official from Education Ministry (1 to 2 recommendations)
- President / Secretary of Largest Education Association (1 to 2 recommendations)
- Journalist dealing with Education Sector (Only 1 Recommendation)
It is, therefore, requested to provide us the complete details by 30th July 2019 as per the below format:

As a part of hospitality, FICCI shall be providing both side economy class air tickets from the shortest route, 5-star hotel accommodation for 3 nights in India (near to the event venue) and other suitable arrangements to the Hosted Foreign Delegates for their visit to FICCI Higher Education Summit 2019.
It may be noted that the organisers will provide accommodation and economy class air ticket (with airfare upto USD 700) to approved hosted delegates. Tickets with fare exceeding USD 700 shall be purchased by the delegate upon prior confirmation of travel itinerary (reaching New Delhi on 26th November 2019 and departing New Delhi on 29th November 2019 late evening). After successful visit by the delegate, organisers will reimburse USD 700 directly to their bank account through electronic transfer. Organisers will host only one person from an organization. Additional delegates from the same organisation interested to participate are welcome however they will bear cost of air-ticket and accommodation.

This is to inform that FICCI will host about 10 delegates per country on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS and subject to appropriateness of profile and approval by the screening committee. A token cash amount of USD 100/- against refundable registration fee shall be deposited by all the invited delegates upon arrival to India.

The final selection/ shortlisting will be done by the Screening Committee.
